Richard Madden (born 18 June 1986) is a Scottish stage, film, and television actor best known for portraying Robb Stark in the HBO series Game of Thrones and Prince Kit in Disney's Cinderella.
Early life
Madden was born in Elderslie, Scotland, where he was raised, with older and younger sisters. His mother, Pat, is a classroom assistant, and his father, Richard, is in the fire service.
As of the middle of March of 2015, the identity of the Scottish clan to which Madden belongs, if any, was not known.
Career
At the age of 11, Madden joined Paisley Arts Centre's youth theatre programme to help overcome his shyness.
