William J. "Willem" Dafoe (born July 22, 1955) is an American actor.
He is a member of the experimental theater company The Wooster Group and he has appeared in films such as Platoon, Shadow of the Vampire, and The Last Temptation of Christ. Dafoe has had voice roles in Fantastic Mr. Fox and Finding Nemo, as well as two episodes of The Simpsons. He also provided the voice and motion capture for Nathan Dawkins in the 2013 video game Beyond: Two Souls.
He has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor twice: for Platoon in 1986 and Shadow of the Vampire in 2000.
Early life
